CDS Defence Support are confirmed to exhibit at ITEC 2018
CDS Defence Support are pleased to announce that they have been confirmed as exhibiting at ITEC 2018, in Stuttgart Germany from the 15th – 17th May. As well as being exhibitors, the CDS DS Head of Training and Research, Jani Marok, has been accepted as a speaker and will be delivering a paper on Military Training
Jani’s paper is entitled: “The Importance of Higher Education in the Military: Improving Performance, Capability and Leadership through Innovative Education and Digital Learning Programmes” and will be delivered as part of the ITEC 2018 Conference.
Jani is a former Commanding Officer of the Royal Marine Training Establishment, Lympstone, he is now head of the Royal Marine Reserve as an OF5. As Head of Training and Research at CDS DS, Jani has brought his military experience and passion for education and learning to the fore. He has developed a number of innovative learning solutions for the Army and is considered a leading exponent of e-learning within the military. An inspirational leader and speaker he has worked as a coach and mentor with a range of businesses in all sectors to improve performance through better leadership, knowledge, skills and a collaborative approach. He has coached across private, public and elite sport since 2009, including a two year contract with the British Olympic Association on Sir Clive Woodward's Performance Coaching Programme as the Leadership Development expert. Jani holds an MA in Defence Studies from Cranfield University, a BSC (Hons) from the University of Birmingham and a Level 7 qualification in Coaching and Leadership. Jani's thinking and approach to the current and future challenges in Military education and learning will be of huge interest to, and spark debate amongst, all those involved.
