Technology Enhanced Learning

Technology Enhanced Learning

The Technology Enhanced Learning Team provide CDS DS with an innovative edge within the training sector. Once we fully understand your requirement, our team use their vast experience across the many technology enhanced learning options available to offer you a creative and tailored solution.

What is Technology Enhanced Learning?

Technology Enhance Learning (TEL) uses technology to enhance the learning experience for the Trainee. This can be online or offline, solo or group-based. There are many examples of this, some of which include; tracking Trainee learning and progress through an app, creation of a poll for students to decide the next subject to cover in a lecture, the use of gamification to make learning more engaging or using collaborative, multi-sensory learning.  The options are endless!

Interactive video

CDS DS is making a move away from traditional "click next" eLearning, and instead exploring the wide range of engaging options available.  These range from interactive videos that allow data analysis and recording of answers given and information viewed to fully immersive Virtual Reality training, with landscapes, characters and scenarios all created from scratch and tailored to the individual customer need.

GATEKEEPER case study

This was produced for the British Army in response to a need to train new recruits in the dangers of loading and transporting ammunition by road. This project was a blended solution comprising online and classroom training and has successfully been rolled out, with plans for expansion into more Army training facilities in the future.
