CDS DS becomes a Defence Cyber Certification (DCC) Level 1 Certificate Body

CDS Defence & Security is pleased to announce that we are now an approved Defence Cyber Certification (DCC) Level 1 Certificate Body, authorised to assess and certify organisations at DCC Level 0 and Level 1.

Developed by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) in partnership with IASME, the Defence Cyber Certification framework is designed to strengthen cyber resilience across the UK defence supply chain. The scheme provides a single, organisation-level assurance that can be presented in support of UK defence procurements, helping suppliers demonstrate their commitment to robust cyber security practices.

DCC places a strong emphasis on organisational resilience, governance, and continuous improvement. Certification is supported by annual attestation, with full re-certification every three years, ensuring organisations maintain and evolve their cyber posture in line with emerging threats.

As a DCC Certificate Body, CDS Defence & Security can now:

• Assess and certify organisations at DCC Level 0 and Level 1

• Deliver Cyber Essentials, which underpins all four levels of the DCC framework

• Support defence suppliers in building proportionate, risk-based cyber resilience aligned to MoD expectations
