CDS DS Spreads Festive Cheer with Christmas Charity Fun Run for SSAFA
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community, CDS Defence & Security recently held its annual Christmas Charity Fancy Dress Fun Run/Walk in aid of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.

Colleagues came together in festive spirit, taking part either in person at our Cheltenham office or virtually from across the UK. Participants ran, walked, and strolled a 4K route around King George V Playing Field in fancy dress, with Santa hats, Christmas jumpers, and even a few four-legged friends joining the fun.
You can watch this years' fun run here.
The event was a great success, raising valuable funds to help SSAFA continue its vital work supporting serving personnel, veterans, and their families, particularly during the festive season when support can be most needed.
Winners of our Cheltenham event were:
1st - Josef Erskine (19mins 30secs)
2nd - Will Renyard
3rd - Christopher Williams
Best fancy dress - Bryn Stretton & Karl Rees

Winners of our Virtual event were:
1st - Steve Patton (23mins 57secs)
2nd - Naomi Franks
3rd - Ian Morrison

Beyond fundraising, the fun run highlighted the strong sense of community and togetherness across CDS DS. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring colleagues together, encourage wellbeing, and end the year on a positive note.
We would like to thank everyone who took part, donated, and helped organise the event. Your enthusiasm and generosity made a real difference.
As we head into the Christmas break, we wish all our colleagues, partners, and supporters a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.
