Training & Learning Development becomes Training Services
Introducing Training Services: a clearer way to describe how we support our clients
As part of our ongoing work to improve clarity and consistency across the organisation, we are updating the name of our Training & Learning Development business unit.
From Monday 12 January 2026, the business unit will be known as Training Services.
This change has been made to better reflect the professional, external-facing services the team delivers to both CDS Defence & Security and its clients. While the previous name was sometimes interpreted as an internal learning function, Training Services more clearly communicates the team’s role in providing structured, client-focused training solutions.
Importantly, this is a change in name only. The scope of services, team structure, and priorities remain unchanged. The Training Services team will continue to deliver the same high-quality support across analysis, design, and delivery, working closely with clients to meet their training needs.
The new name provides a simpler, clearer way to describe what the team does, making it easier for clients and colleagues alike to understand how CDS Defence & Security supports training delivery across the organisation.
