Whole Force Approach
The Whole Force Approach recognises the significant value that can be achieved by the effective collaboration of full-time military personnel, reserve forces, civil servants and defence industry contractors.
CDS Defence & Security embraces this concept and operates its business in a manner which exemplifies the Whole Force Approach. We do this by employing an ethos that recognises that the role it plays is only effective when undertaken in partnership with colleagues and clients in the full time and reserve services.
We further endorse the Whole Force Approach by encouraging reservist personnel within its own workforce. Currently more than 10% of our workforce are reservists. We provide the opportunity for those members to pursue their armed forces roles whilst enjoying a fulfilling career with a leading Defence Consultancy
We have also signed the Armed Forces Covenant, an official document that pledges that CDS DS will support any serving reservist employee over and above the expected level. We are also proud winners of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme at Silver level, one of only 16 companies in the South West Region to have been selected for the award in that year.
