Strategy Development
Our team of consultancy will work with you to understand the component parts of what is deemed best practice when creating a digitally skilled workforce and working environment. We focus on the ‘people’ elements to ensure that the processes, procedures and equipment all work in harmony creating the conditions for a successful transformation. We will develop Courses of Action (CoA) within each of the workstreams tailored to your specific requirements.
Employees need to be empowered to take responsibility for their own digital skills and to support one another in this – HOW??
- Creation and implementation of a targeted training solution and onboarding
- Establishing the need/motivation for the inclusion of digital skills into individuals’ roles and competencies – the ‘so what’.
How to achieve a workforce that has the right Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours
- Determine ‘who’ the workforce is – inclusivity in a change initiative is key to success.
- Determine ‘what’ the workforce does and the knowledge/skills/behaviours it requires at all levels of the organisation
- Determine the training need – this is about creating a digital ‘wrapper’ of competencies for individuals in addition to their role specific skills
Requirements setting
Once the vision and goals have been established with their associated workstream and CoA, to better understand the People training and educational CoA, our experts will adopt a Systems Approach to Training (SAT) applying it intelligently such that a structured analysis can be carried out. This will address areas of uncertainty and ambiguity, whilst focusing on those things that make a difference. By adopting a systems approach, CDS DS will ensure that we recommend a training solution that is effective, cost-efficient, accountable and appropriate to the training needs. In addition, building the components of a SAT will set the foundations to further develop the training within the client organisation.
